We have just started rolling out Droid Info v1.1.0 Hardware Information App on the Play Store which brings a lot of improvements from the previous version including a fan request, export data from the app as a report.
There are numerous little things you will see when you use the new Droid Info for Android, including showing dimensions of your phone, its weight, actual display size (supported devices) and USB OTG support. You can now also check the internal temperature of your phone, with the Thermal tab.
Coming to performance enhancement, we have made the Sensor tab take less system memory on Android and CPU cycles with slower updates so as to not choke up the system. The app now loads faster, and you won’t see any Tab refreshes while you are using it.
The new Report option allows you to create a detailed Hardware Report on your smartphone which all the relevant details from the app. You can share the report over any social network, or even as an email. In future we will also be adding the option to Export report as PDF.
We have also fixed most known bugs with the app and it is now compatible with Android Marshmallow and upcoming Nougat release. The External Storage Not detection bug on some devices has also been rectified. Along with all the new additions, and optimizations we can now proudly say that Droid Info now natively supports 21 languages including:
